Total Dispersal sale of Dohne Merino herd as well as complete sheep handling facilities and 200 semen straws of the well-known Fire Ball ram!

On offer:

1260 Dohne Merino breeding sheep, consisting of:

– 572 Ewes (running with rams).
– 146 Ewes with 189 lambs.
– 339 Ewes (young replacement ewes – open).
– 11 Rams.
– 200 Fire Ball’s semen straws.

* Herd health: Inoculated with Dectomax, Multivax P+ and dosed with Liver Fluke.

* Auctioneers note: This is an excellent opportunity to buy good quality Dohne Merino breeding sheep with offspring from the well-known Fire Ball genetics. 200 Straws from Fire Ball will be offered in 20 lots of 10 straws per lot. The majority of the ewes were AI’d with Fire Ball semen. The pregnancy status of the ewes, as well as the catalogue, will be available on the day of the auction.

– Complete galvanised sheep handling equipment (includes): Weigh-scan-clamp-class pen, loading ramp, class gate, adjustable crush, 30 x 3m sheep panels, 11 sheep gates 3m x 0.9m, 4 way hook-up’s, 3 way sorting gate, tilt.

– 314 Sheep panels: 80 Complete lambing pens when constructed, 1.5m x 1.0m with feeding troughs.

* Note: The above sheep handling equipment will be auctioned as a unit.

– From Harrismith: Travel on the N3, turn off at exit 146 before Mooi River. Turn right over the N3, follow road for 1,9km. Turn right onto Lawrence street, travel for 2,2km. Turn left, follow road for 14km. Turn right to sale.

– From Pietermaritzburg: Travel on the N3, turn of at the Mooi River off ramp, turn left at stop, and then right on the R103. Travel for 1,6km, at roundabout, take 1st exit onto Weston road. Travel for 110 metres, turn right onto Market street. Travel for 50 metres, turn left onto Lawrence street, travel for 2,2km. Turn left, follow road for 14km. Turn right to sale.
