A recently developed irrigation land measuring 23,0662 hectares is now ON AUCTION.

This property is situated on remainder Ptn 21 of Farm no. 809, as well as Ptn 80, (a portion of portion 21) of Farm no. 809.

The land has seen improvements such as all equipment installed within the last 4 years, including a fully automated 4 tower centre pivot, a fully automated 1 tower centre pivot, 4 blocks of fixed sprinklers, 2 boreholes (one for irrigation with a capacity to extract 28,000 litres per hour and another for drinking water with a capacity to extract 4,000 litres per hour), and an irrigation reservoir with a capacity of 5,900sqm.

The land also features several structures, such as a shed measuring 540sqm. The reverse osmosis plant has a capacity of 350 litres per hour (TDS of 3 for nursery and human consumption), an under-cover handling facility with a crush, spray dip, and scale, a sheep handling facility, a loading zone for sheep and cattle (small and big vehicles).

The property is divided into 13 camps and is fenced at a height of 1.4m with 900x90 netting (electrified) and is suitable for small stock and cattle. The pivots are planted with perennial pasture such as Rye, Cocksfoot, Long Fescue grass (Bronson), and Red Clover, while the sprinklers have Kikuyu.

The soil type is sand to sandy loam, and all alien plants have been mechanically removed.

Additionally, the land has a 25 KVA 3 phase ESKOM power supply.
