SUSAN JOOSTE BREEDING SALE

The breeding sale of Susan Jooste will take place on Friday the 16th of February 2024 from 11:00 on the farm Laxdale in Koppies.

1805 Merino sheep, on offer:

- 200 Ewes with lambs (2 tooth - full mouth).

- 320 In lamb ewes (to lamb March 2024; 2 tooth - full mouth).

- 350 Ewes (running with ram; 2 tooth - full mouth).

- 330 Ewe lambs (10 months - 1 year old).

- 360 Ram lambs (10 months - 1 year old).

- 45 Rams.

* Note: Closed herd from 1950. Top rams are used in herd from Eddie Prinsloo. Ewes with 4 months wool. Ewe - and ram lambs have already been sheared. Herd ewes are vaccinated against Rift Valley Fever and already vaccinated with Covexin, Blue tongue, Multimin and Pasteurella.

Route:

- From Vaal Plaza toll gate drive South on the N1, towards Kroonstad, for 39 km, take the Koppies/Vredefort exit, R720, turn right over the N1, drive for 3 km, turn left into farm.

- From Kroonstad drive North on the N1, direction Johannesburg, for 53 km, take the Koppies/Vredefort exit, R720, turn left and drive for 3 km, turn left into farm.

- From Koppies drive for 14 km on the Vredefort road, R720, turn left at farm (3 km past the N1).
